***Important Announcement Regarding Mabank ISD’s Section 125 Cafeteria Plan/Supplemental Insurance Plan Year***
Effective September 1, 2024 Mabank ISD will be aligning their Section 125 Cafeteria Plan/Supplemental Insurance plan year with the TRS-ActiveCare Health Insurance plan year. To accomplish this, MISD will have a short plan year, January 1, 2024-August 31, 2024, on all supplemental insurance programs. MISD and Gentry Financial Group will be conducting a PASSIVE enrollment this fall meaning all benefits will automatically be rolled into the upcoming plan year and only employees needing to make changes will be required to log into THEbenefitsHUB to do so. For employees enrolled in the Flexible Spending Program, please note you will only have an 8-month plan year, January 1, 2024-August 31, 2024, to spend your elected contribution so please plan accordingly.
Please be aware that enrollment for the September 1, 2024 plan year will commence in July 2024 and will be mandatory for all employees to complete. More information will be sent out this summer once rates and plans are made available.
